Lou! Is Now a Webseries!

Intern Isabel Taylor tells us about a new webseries based on the characters from Lou!, a graphic novel series originally published in French. Our Graphic Universe™ imprint published the first four titles for US audiences in 2012.

Are you a fan of the bestselling Lou! graphic novel series? Now, you can experience the fun all over again with the Lou! webseries from Go-N Productions, in association with M6 television and Disney Channel France! Several episodes are dubbed in English on YouTube, each about 13 minutes long.

But you don’t need to be a Lou! enthusiast to enjoy the videos; this webseries is a great accompaniment for someone experiencing the series for the first time (perhaps a reluctant reader who needs another kind of media to get hooked). Of course, they’re also perfect for someone who can’t get enough of the graphic novel series.

In true webseries fashion, these episodes would be great for either a rainy day marathon or a quick viewing here and there. Fun and stylized cartoon art complements the adventures of Lou and her cohorts. For fans of the book series, it’ll be great to see the series come to life, but I can also imagine that those unfamiliar with the series will enjoy these episodes—and then want to read the graphic novels!  Check out more episodes today, and find the graphic novel series here on Lerner’s website.
