Remember Len Vlahos’s The Scar Boys?
Here’s a refresher: this “wry, stylish tale” (that’s The New York Times talking, not us) of a rag-tag teenage punk rock band with big dreams and bigger problems was published in January 2014 to great acclaim. The book received a starred review from School Library Journal and was nominated for the 2015 Morris Award.
Next spring, the band returns in Scar Girl. Told in interview format, the members of the Scar Boys (actually three guys and a girl) speak for themselves about the long road to fame.
And now for the big (okay, not so big because all we did was tweak Egmont USA’s original cover a bit) reveal!
