These books would be a great way to introduce our legends project. We will then have the students write their own legend. Part of the plan is to have them interview grandparents and older adults to see what legends they can remember. Thanks for the chance.

Out here in South Dakota we have a large population of ESL students. It is tough finding books that would interest them, can be read at their level, and also not talk down to them. They also have an abiding love of dragons.
