An Abundance of Good News

Last week, Patricia alluded to an accolade that hadn’t previously been mentioned on our blog. I’m pleased to share the details today: A Leaf Can Be . . . by Laura Purdie Salas and illustrated by Violeta Dabija is a Minnesota Book Award finalist in the Children’s Literature category!
 

This was a wonderful book to be involved with from the moment Laura’s manuscript arrived in my inbox, and it is a thrill to see it listed among such a fine group of finalists. Winners will be announced on April 13, so I’ll just be holding my breath until then!
