Our next giveaway is a different kind of treasure: the perfect holiday gift for the young adventurer on your list. The first two books of our new Mortensen’s Escapades series introduce readers to the swashbuckling secret agent who fights crime, solves mysteries, and probably has all his holiday shopping done well in advance. He is, after all, a time traveler.

In The Mysterious Manuscript, a book collector shows Mortensen an illuminated manuscript from 1512. When Mortensen sees a painting of an airplane on one of its pages, he knows he has a mystery to unravel: How did an airplane crash land in the Middle Ages?

In The Santa Fe Jail, a genius scientist has been kidnapped, and Mortensen must deliver the ransom to the Santa Fe Jail. But the kidnappers are time travelers, so nothing is as simple as it seems….

    My granddaughter loves reading mysteries. She would absolutely love these books. Thanks for the chance to win them. They would make her so happy. She spends hours and hours reading and it is hard to find quality books. Merry Christmas.
