This week for Free Book Friday we are giving one lucky winner our new Scientific Rivalries and Scandals series from Twenty-First Century Books valued at more than $130.00!
Bribery. Theft. Betrayals and lifelong feuds. Intense competition leading to bitter disputes has characterized the relationships among some of the world’s greatest scientific innovators. This one-of-a-kind series combines math, science, history, and biography to expose the rivalries behind groundbreaking achievements. Readers learn that great discoveries in math and science happen in the real world of personalities and historical events, not locked away in a laboratory. Each title is illustrated with artwork, photographs, and diagrams, and supported with solid, expert-approved science and mathematics.

What a great collection of books. These would be especially valuable because they integrate all the subject areas, which is so important these days, and they deal with real life events and people. Students will really be able to connect with these books.
