Passing the Torch

One more thing that caught my eye today: a reflection from Katherine Paterson on her two years as the National Ambassador For Young People’s Literature. It’s worth a read even if Bridge to Terabithia didn’t reign over your tween reading favorites as it did mine. Paterson’s lofty goals for her tenure as Ambassador (“I wanted to turn the world upside down”) are pretty inspiring.
