Earlier today, I was looking up something on our website and I happened to choose the “advanced search” option.

Wow—I had completely forgotten how many ways you can filter a search. And then after the results come up, you can narrow the results, for example, to show only fiction or only nonfiction. Or only hardcover if you want to avoid duplicate results for different formats.

I found what I was looking for far more quickly than if I had simply done a standard search. So that’s my tip of the day—embrace the advanced search option!
