I’m posting this a day early in honor of the Super Bowl. I may not be the world’s biggest sports fan, but I can honestly say I’ve at least read our biography of Peyton Manning.
As a kid, I found sporting events were best enjoyed with a pencil and some paper handy. That way I could doodle while I watched. As a special treat for artistically inclined football fans out there, here are instructions for how to draw a football player. The helmet and uniform are plain, but of course I’d encourage you to add the colors and logo of your favorite team. This drawing lesson is brought to you by the book Cool Boy Stuff You Can Draw in our Ready, Set, Draw! series. If football’s not your thing, you can check out the rest of the series here.
